Event Agenda
The Proteins Congress 2010
27th & 28th October
Wednesday 27th October 2010 to Thursday 28th October 2010
Berlin, Germany, -
£650.00/person

Over two days, the event will attract over 150 senior-level decision makers working in Proteins development from the UK, Europe and US. This prestigious event provides a forum for practitioners and prominent innovators to learn more about key solutions being provided to their industry, network with their peers, and address key industry concerns through a series of cutting edge conference presentations in a professional yet relaxed environment, during a 2 day conference programme.

Day One

Protein Expression Systems & Purification Development: Examines different expression systems including cell (eukaryotic) and cell free systems and high throughput technologies. Case studies will highlight methods to improve purification, increase yields and enhance protein development.

Outlook on Antibody Therapeutics: Evaluates and presents new data on engineering antibodies, like bispecific antibodies as well as alternatives antibodies and scaffolds for therapeutic applications or in vivo diagnostics and novel therapeutic approaches like Fc-fusion Protein applications.

Day Two

Advances in Protein Characterisation & Structural Analysis: With original recombinant proteins coming off patent, protein characterisation for generic drug development is becoming more important. Talks will tackle developments in structural protein analysis from a biological, physical and chemical angle to support protein therapeutic engineering.

Challenges in Protein Bioprocessing: Will focus on case studies addressing advanced methods to prolong protein half life, fuel protein stability and beat protein aggregation as well as recognising and overcoming immunogenicity to enhance pharmacology profiles.
